By midday the water temperature had risen into the upper sixties and the redfish and trout bite had finally turned on. D.O. A. soft plastics were preferred over live bait. Fly fishing on the Mosquito Lagoon is still in the mix as well. When it is cold like this the north section by the Eldora flats is your best bet. It allows for great protection and some of the best fishing on the lagoon. This is why I love being an Orlando redfish guide.
