Florida Inshore Fishing

Florida Inshore Fishing Charters uses only the best professional equipment available to insure your day on the water is as productive and comfortable as it can be. We will be fishing out of a 2007 Ranger Banshee Extreme. Designed for the extremely shallow waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon system, this boat is right at home here.

She drafts only 5 1/2" fully loaded, is nearly 7 feet wide and close to 17 feet long and has plenty of deck space for two anglers and the captain to move comfortably. Able to run at comfortable speeds along with a smooth ride, makes this the perfect back country light tackle flats fishing boat for the Mosquito Lagoon's shallow water. While able to go where other boats can't, this boat will pole you up to tailing Reds and stealthy Trout without the fish even detecting your presence. Alllowing you, while on your guided trip, to sight fish areas that other boats just can not reach.

Powered with an EFI Yamaha 50hp four stroke outboard, this environmentally friendly vessel is the perfect flats boat for the lagoon systems and allows us to get there safely and quietly. It is also equipped with a Power Pole, Motorguide 71-lb thrust trolling motor for those special times, hydraulic Jack Plate, recessed trim tabs, Garmin Electronics, fully equipped livewell system, all USCG safety equipment, plus much more.

Captain Drew also takes his tackle selection very seriously by using the best means, as well as considering reliability and quality. The tackle includes Shimano Stradic Reels, St. Croix Rods, PowerPro line (10-20lb class) Fluorocarbon leader, and Owner circle hooks. Included are the top of the line Berkley Gulp saltwater baits, Rapala plugs, DOA jigs, and many others. The live bait used is always fresh and frisky, ready to get the attention of all the awaiting fish!
