October 11th, 2007 Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Fishing Reports With calm winds today and a high of 85 degreesĀ out, the day turned out nice. My clients and I started off with some basic bar fishing using D.O.A. shrimp under a popping cork. This is always a simple and productive way to catch some fish. This method is very good to use with beginners and kids. It keeps kids busy and active with the rod and reel. By the end of the day we had landed 16 trout and 7 redfish. Fly fishing throughout the backcountry waters of the Mosquito Lagoon has been very productive as well. Captain Drew Cavanaugh |
